A Sussex primary school will travel to Bodymoor Heath, Aston Villa’s Training Ground, on Saturday 24 May 2014 to compete in the National Finals of the Danone Nations Cup, the world’s biggest football tournament for 10-12 year olds.

St Peter’s CE Primary School , who successfully progressed from the county knockout rounds of the tournament, triumphed at the regional finals held at Chigwell School, Essex in March to earn their place at the National Finals. Victory at Bodymoor Heath, a top class FA venue, will result in the school being crowned national champions.

Charlotte Broos, CSR manager at Danone, said: “We are delighted to announce the location of this year’s national final. The facilities at Bodymoor Heath are world class and offer the team from St Peter’s CE Primary School a fantastic opportunity to compete at a premier league club training ground.”
